Loves Creek Watershed

This group was assembled to discuss the potential for the Love’s Creek Watershed to become a unique amenity for the Town of Siler City.  The area has potential to offer blue and greenway recreational opportunities for all ages and re-graded channels may provide aesthetic, sound, environmental and visual interest.  The surrounding, formerly industrial sites present the greatest opportunities for redevelopment around a dense and active downtown core.  Loves Creek is designated as an impaired stream by EPA and therefore there are funds available that can help our community begin improving our water quality.
