Water Treatment Plant (WTP)

The Water Treatment Plant came online in 1983 with a rated capacity of four (4) million gallons per day (MGD).  The construction cost of the plant was $2,400,000 million.  The average production of the plant is 1.5 million gallons per day. 

 

The plant is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.  The plant has one superintendent, four plant operators, and a maintenance mechanic.

 

The superintendent has a Grade A Certification.  All plant operators and maintenance mechanic have a minimum Grade C Certification.
