Senior Administrative Support Specialist

Senior Administrative Support Specialist Supervisor Smith joined the Siler City Police Department in 2002 where she began as a Telecommunicator. Her prior experience includes the Chatham County 911 Communications Center from 1997 until 2002.  In 2009,  she transitioned into Records for the department.  Andrea is responsible for compliance in the Incident Based Reporting System, this includes reviewing all reports generated by department staff.  Supervisor Smith prepares and submits all mandated required data for monthly statistics as required by the state of North Carolina.  Andrea also serves as an Administrative Assistant to the Command Staff.  Her collateral duties include serving on several committees for the department, as well as the Safe Kids Chatham Chairperson. Andrea is a Certified Car Seat Technician and can assist you with any child seat needs.
