Siler City Parks and Recreation is proud to offer Youth Flag Football, Tackle Football and Cheerleading options to children ages 5-12.

Youth Flag & Tackle Football
For Fall 2022, tackle football will participate with Alamance County Parks. Flag football will participate with Quad County Football League comprised of professional parks and recreation departments across Chatham, Randolph and Wake County. Football is offered to boys and girls ages 5-12 (age as of August 1, 2022). Practices will start the week of August 1st and are held at the Bray Park Sports Complex, for the following:
5-6 Flag football: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm - 7:30pm
8U, 10U, 12U Football: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Home games are held at Jordan Matthews High School and away games are played at various fields (Alamance County Area).
Last day of registration is in person ONLY and can be done at City Hall (311 N 2nd Ave) Water Billing Department until 5pm. Please review the Football Information Letter for additional information on league changes, weight limits, equipment pick up and weigh-in dates/locations.

Youth Cheerleading
Cheerleading is offered to boys and girls ages 5-12 (age as of August 1, 2022). Cheer squads are established based on age groups. Squads typically cheer at all home games held at Jordan Matthews Highschool. The "Travel Squad" will be a combined squad of all ages traveling to away games in Alamance County. Please note, Travel Squad is optional and some games will be played during the week. Practices are held at the Bray Park Sports Complex on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
